New Favorite

So a couple weeks ago I discovered a website called Pinterest. It's a place where you go and can "Pin" different photos on a board, for example if there is some sort of cool decorating thing you like and want to try, or a place you want to visit, you can have different boards that you would "Pin" this picture on. Anyway, I love this site! I can spend hours on it, and it's fun because you can view everyone else's Pins and if you like it you can Repin it for yourself. If you've never heard of it I would definitely recommend checking it out! Pinterest.com so fun!

Blow out

Yesterday AJ had quite the blow out, and unfortunately I didn't have a change of clothes with me, all I had was this hat. :) He didn't seem to mind though.

Almost 9 months!!

So it has been a while since my last post. I'm sure a lot has happened that I could tell you about, but since I'm still sleep deprived I can't seem to remember any. I will post a few updates about AJ though. All he ever wants to do now is walk around...he fusses when you hold him, but as soon as you put him down to walk he starts laughing and talking. He's so close to crawling, but I think his head is too big for his poor little arms to hold up. :) Every day I think he's about to take off and crawl, but he just can't quite seem to do it.

AJ loves his Daddy, and loves playing games with him. We wait at the door everyday for Daddy to come home, and when AJ sees him he starts waving his arms so fast and smiling so big. Joe kind of likes him too.
AJ also adores his big cousin Cole-Cole. He wants to run after him all the time, and just laughs so hard whenever he sees him.
The sweet little boy face I know. :) I had a photo of AJ and I one here but I accidentally deleted it, so I will post it on the next post.

Here's right before his first eating...doesn't he look so proud. Almost like it's his first day of school. Please don't let that day come too quickly.
Not long after we started he was pretty sure he had it figured out, and could do it on his own.
"What mom, I got this."
It was also difficult to feed him because his signature move is eating his fists...guess it tasted better then his cereal. Also, I tasted the cereal, and I really believe that his fists tasted better.

Another quick video

So, I can't get the eating one on for some reason, but this one makes me laugh. He is a big talker and has started this new super high pitched talking. This is just a little glimpse of it, it's normally much louder.

So I have a video of AJ eating rice for the first time, but it won't upload so I'm going to have to try later.

Last week he got a new jumper, which he loves, and I laugh every time this one song comes on because he jumps in time the entire time. But of course when I get the camera out he won't do it. Funny thing is, when I was watching the video back after recording, he was still in his bouncer and could hear the music...and of course started bouncing in time. Unfortunately I couldn't record it because I was watching the video on it. :) Oh well, I'll try to get it another time. :)

I also have a lot of photos to post, but I can't find my camera cord....I'll try and do that later today. :)

4 month check-up

Ok, so I'm a little late for this, it was actually a week and a half ago, but better late then never. My little man is growing so fast. He's 18 pounds, which I wasn't surprised about. :) 90th for weight and 85th for height, and his head is off the charts. Love my chunk monk. He got two more shots and seriously did not make a peep. He did so great! Much different from the last time he got shots.

I need to be writing down the things he's doing now so I don't forget, and so when I eventually get a baby book I can write it all down. :)

-He's been sitting up by himself for the past two weeks...I can't believe it

-His favorite thing to do is stand, and it's been his favorite thing since he was 2 months

-He's laughing all the time now, especially when his momma makes funny faces

-He loves to look at himself in the mirror

-He's been reaching for things for a while and is able to grab on now. :)

-He tried his first little bit of vanilla ice cream last night, courtesy of his Daddy, and surprisingly loved it.

I know there are so many other things, but I'll have to think. Love my little man so much!

Update

My sister was in town the last few days and we had a great time! I have a few pictures she took from bath time, but I don't have the ones with her and AJ, I'll have to post those later. Here are a few she took in the bath, and then some other from playoff weekend, and just fun home time!
He loves his Daddy so much.
Bath time is his favorite...except for when it's time to get out and dressed. Cass got a couple of pictures of him getting dressed, I'll post them later.

- How he stops eating half way through just to give me a smile

- When he whines while I'm not looking, then starts to laugh as soon as I look

- How he has discovered his hands and starting to reach for things

- How the most he ever talks to me is when I'm singing to him.

- How he smiles at anyone who smiles at him, even if he's in the middle of crying

My little man is growing so fast and I know in each new faze there will be a whole new set of things that I love...but I don't want to forget these ones.

So it has been quite a while since I updated...not that there's anyone out there that really cares, but I like to pretend like I have followers. :)

The holidays were so super busy. We went to Rochester the day after Christmas to see Joe's family. AJ got to meet his Great-Grandparents. It was a sweet time, and of course I forgot my camera. I got a picture off facebook though. I love facebook.

The day after we got back from NY we had to pack to go and see my Dad, Step-mom and little bro Eli in KC. Can I just tell you that Eli is about the cutest little guy ever! Thing is I forgot my camera for this trip too. Yep, putting my nice camera to good use! Good news is we got to go to see my Chiefs! Even though it was an awful game it was still so fun being there and cheering them on. Bring on the Ravens baby!!!

So since I don't have any pictures from the trip I thought I would do a few from Christmas, and a video`. Our little man is getting so big.
